Finance Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, proactive Finance Assistant to join our team in Warrington on a 5 month contract. As the successful candidate you will have a solid understanding of Finance packages and be able to carry out a variety of office based activities within the construction sector. You will provide an exceptional service whilst hitting the ground running, managing various workloads simultaneously.

Key Requirements:

Matching invoices which are already on Oracle with their delivery notes via GRN and invoice matching techniques

FILING

- Queries on Purchase Ledger via email or telephone
-
- Liaising with the buyers for PO numbers and construction engineers for missing delivery notes

- Urgent payment requests and one off supplier payment requests

- Progression to reports on Aged Creditors reporting and Material Accrual reporting

- Progression to material payment runs

- Progression to provide holiday cover for Finance Manager with Subcontractor payment runs
