Finance Analyst, Reconciliations, Newly Qualified

Our client, a major bank, requires a Finance Analyst to complete system reconciliations and journal postings within their IT department. The role will also involve Business Partnering with Senior IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified accountant with a technical/management accountant background.

Key responsibilities:
*System reconciliations
*Journal Postings
*Data Downloads
*Act as Business Partner to senior IT stakeholders
*Preparation of IT Month End reporting
*Ensuring robust and timely reporting of costs, synergies, run rates.
*Provision of high level commentary, highlighting areas of concern to enable appropriate challenge of Simplification costs and synergies
*Consolidation and communication of Financial Risk and Opportunities schedule
*Support Lead with monthly cost reviews

Essential
*Newly Qualified Accountant
*Good communication and relationship building skills
*Reporting experience essential
*Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
*Organised & a good planner
*Attention to detail
*Excellent systems knowledge (SAP,OFA, PMA)
*Investigative mindset
*Pro-active/Self starter
*Delivery focused.
