Finance Analyst - Immediate Start - Approx. 6 Month Contract

You will be working for a leader in telecommunications and information services in Australia. Based in Melbourne CBD, conveniently located close to public transport, this company is recognised for both their digital connection and content.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Finance Analyst you will:

- Manage and support end to end for major projects within the capital works program
- Understand the proposed IT solution and provide analysis to Project Manager/Program Manager on the cost efficiency of the proposed solution
- Collaborate with planning and other finance representatives
- Assist in analysis of financials and risks to support decision making within the capital works program
- Provide guidance, support and education and promote consistency and compliance in accordance with the IS Financial Services/processes

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As the ideal candidate you will be able to demonstrate:

- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA Qualified) (Preferred)
- Experience working in the establishment and ongoing management of complex, large scale programs
- Experience in the field of managed services for enterprise, telecommunications and IT
- Experience in establishing and implementing process frameworks and leading process improvement activities
- Experience working in a Matrix organisation, managing senior stakeholders
- Experience in working in IT Infrastructure services area
- Experience managing and interacting with customers, delivering improvements to customer experience
- Knowledge of telecommunications and IT industry trends and technological advances
- Knowledge of the Product Development process area
- Knowledge of and experience with program/project management tools and methodologies
