Finance Analyst - Banking - London

A leading UK bank is looking to hire a Finance Analyst on a 6 month contract.

We are looking for a motivated and pro-active individual to work supporting the business units within Corporate Banking Finance.

You will be involved with Analytical Support, Strategy Support and Financial Management support.

Key Analytical Support Responsibilities for the Finance Analyst position include:
* - Extracting and disseminating data from key source systems
* - Reviewing P&L and Balance sheet information
* - Identifying and escalating financial risk issues
* - Data modelling support
* - Offline spreadsheet maintenance including client mapping tables

Key Strategy Support Responsibilities for the Finance Analyst position include:
* - Financial planning including 2012 budget construction
* - Provision of financial data in support of Strategic initiatives
* - Preparation of financial slides for Strategy presentation

Key Financial Management Support Responsibilities for the Finance Analyst position include:
* - Rolling forecast / BAU month end processes
* - Pipeline Management tools

You will have a strong Banking background (ideally corporate or investment banking) with an excellent financial understanding and strong data analysis competencies.
