Finance Analyst - Asset Management

*A Leading Asset Management Firm is looking for an Immediately Available Finance Analyst to join the group on a 6 month contract basis. This role is to replace the previous contractor who has been converted to a permanent position after 3 months of employment with the business*

This is a great opportunity for someone that is immediately available and has worked in audit or asset management before to start their career with a professional firm.

You will have exposure to the whole business regionally across multiple aspects of finance.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Preparation and review of the monthly balance sheet reporting pack for the entities and manage the monthly sign off procedure for IFRS balance sheets.
2. Month end closing which involves reviewing journals and late adjustments submitted by business finance; ensure they are reasonable and correct before posting to ledger
3. Perform intercompany breaks review and investigation
Assist in reviewing sections of the reporting pack to the Group
4. Responsible for reporting; preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with auditors for a few subsidiaries
5. Assist in adhoc finance projects where necessary

Experience

1. Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant (CPA or equivalent)
2. 2+ years audit/asset management experience
3. Excellent communication skills
