RED's global client; a leader in the Pharmaceutical sector and globally recognised brand are pleased to offer an exciting new position for the role of Finance Analyst - SAP FICO and SAP PS.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, R&D Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting, the IPE/EPE Financial Analyst is responsible for consolidating and analysing financial data (budgets, actuals, forecasts, etc) pertaining to R consulting financial partners and business stakeholders to provide appropriate context; identifying trends, advising and recommending actions based on sound analysis to reduce costs and improve financial performance. Individual IPE/EPE Analyst will be aligned to specific platforms, R&D centres and regions.

Main purpose of this role is the preparation, development and analysis of management accounting information and provision of a high quality support service to R monitoring variances; identifying trends; and recommending actions to management based on sound analysis.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Assemble and summarise data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Ensure budget holders understand key financial concepts and information; and assist with preparation of budget templates
- Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Assist in the budget
- Accounting/GAAP/IFRA knowledge
- Relevant experience in preparation of management accounts in a multi-site, decentralised organisation
- First-hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting
