FINANCE ANALYST

The opportunity to recruit an experienced FINANCE ANALYST has arisen in for 3 - 6 MONTHS in a large financial services company based in EDINBURGH at the rate of £300-360 PER DAY to start in JANUARY 2015. The ideal candidate will have financial services, risk and strong data and numerical experience.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- To develop and implement the secured funding data requirements for the Bank.
- Collaborate wit the Data and Business Intelligence team to maintain securitisation flags and database within the Bank's data warehouse.
- Extract data in line with Bank of England requirements.
- Run weekly and monthly reports.
- Drive fact based Treasury management decisions.
- Maintain internal and external networks to deliver the benefits to the business.
- Manage and minimise operational risks around data.
- In collaboration with Finance, Risk, Operations and other relevant stakeholders, constructively challenge procedures, processes and controls for all aspects of secured funding administration.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

- Higher qualification in Mathematics or Finance desired.
- 3-5 years experience in data/and or analytical environment.
- Advanced user MS Office packages and uses this to present complex data in an effective and efficient manner.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Having an awareness and understanding of conduct risk, specifically the delivery of fair customer outcomes.
