Finance Analyst

- Experience of operating financial systems preferably SAP
- Work with Senior Finance Business Partners and Finance Business Partners to ensure Substations projects actual and forecast costs are accurate and fully understood
- Support the Substations Senior Finance Business Partner in the preparation and analysis of actual costs, forecasts and budgets
- Liaise with Capital Investment Appraisal team to produce and analyse governance exception reporting
- Produce monthly MI reports and presentation packs for OHLCS and Finance management meetings
- Undertake ad hoc analysis as required by Substations Senior Finance Business Partner
- Support Capital Investment Planning and Reporting Manager in the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts for Capital Delivery Cost of Function, including publication of actual costs, consolidation of forecasts and budgets and preparation of monthly reports to Capital Delivery Executive Committee
- Support budget holders within Capital Delivery Core functions in the analysis and review of their financial performance
- Act as main point of contact for all queries relating to consolidated Cost of Function reporting
- Monitor, review and update the capitalisation rate for Capital delivery Core functions
- Liaise with Workforce Planning Manager to produce monthly headcount reports and forecasts
- Assist the Substations Senior Finance Business Partner with the tracking of Capital Delivery capex efficiencies
- Provide ad hoc support to Substations Finance Business Partners
- Work with Senior Finance Business Partners and Finance Business Partners to ensure Substations projects actual and forecast costs are accurate and fully understood
