Finance Analyst

On behalf of Hyphens utilities client I am looking to recruit a Finance Analyst for an initial period of 6 months based in Warwick.

Job purpose:
As the Finance Analyst you will support the finance project improving the functional and business understanding of the cost and level of services consumed of Support Functions through the development of a systematic approach. This approach identifies operational efficiencies and demand management leading to robust value plans to achieve Board financial commitments.

Key Tasks:
*Develop the capability and delivery of the Finance Project as specified by the project lead
*Maintain & further develop financial cost models
*Present the financial cost data in PowerPoint format, ensuring messages are clear and concise.
*Other adhoc business partnering tasks/assignments

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
*Part/full qualification from a professional accounting body qualification (eg ACCA/CIMA) or broad business experience (financial, management and/or project accounting experience)
*Understanding of the strategic and financial direction
*Ability to support strategic and tactical change, fostering innovation to achieve business goals
*Experience of collaborative working relationships within a business environment with great communication skills, active knowledge sharing and being responsive to feedback
