Finance Analyst

My client a leading energy provider in the UK is currently seeking an experienced Finance Analyst. The person required should come with proven experience as SAP User and will have provided financial analysis within the IT project environment.

Requirements:

- Portfolio financial reporting, forecasting, tracking costs, running accountability with Project Managers on all cost elements within projects
- Working with project and programme managers in managing financial programme information - generating and distributing relevant programme information to stakeholders, programme staff and other interested parties
- Tracking of accruals, raising requisitions on behalf of projects within the portfolio
- Ensuring that projects are administered and reported in a consistent manner
- Liaison with Project Managers and Project Office staff within sub-projects, for integrated reporting, and primary responsibility for adherence to consistent reporting standards across the each programme
- Monitoring programme performance against plan, reporting variance in line with programme requirements
- Maintains register of compliance and governance reporting & metrics in order to ensure continual improvements are made
- Provide periodic portfolio performance reporting such as resource utilisation
- Excellent Excel skills
