FIELD TEST ENGINEER - IOT/VALIDATION - BASED LAUSANNE SWITZERLAND
My client is a leading manufacturer of Smartphones/Devices and they require a Field Test Engineer urgently to work on technical approval of products with wireless carriers, including field testing of new releases and products and to be involved with investigation and debugging of issues and verification of fixes.
You will be working with the wireless certification and development teams on issues reported by the carrier's customers and field personnel.
Key skills include:
* Live network test experience with the ability to identify specific test locations
* Technical understanding and strong experience with GSM/GPRS, Edge, CDMA and UMTS
* Testing and debug of GSM communication systems
* Ability to manage relationships across functional areas with carrier certification engineers
* Understanding of hardware and software testing
* Excellent knowledge of field testing and interworking of cellular carriers
This role will be based out of Lausanne Switzerland however due to the nature of the work you will be required to travel across Switzerland in order to carry out the work
Candidates must be eligible to live and work freely in Switzerland and ideally speak the local language as well as being fluent in English.
