For our international client we are looking for a Field Telecom Operations & Support Engineer.

Full time available.
Work location is dependent on assets supported.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The position provides subject matter expert input to support Field Telecom infrastructure services in use or being deployed at plants, exploration and production locations both on-shore as well as off-shore.
Principal Accountabilities Field Telecom Operations and Support Engineer

The Field Telecom O&M Engineer supports Field Telecom (FT) infrastructure through:
Evaluating, selecting and recommending vendors, suppliers, service providers and solutions integrators & monitor contractual obligations and performance delivery
Specifying, implementing, configuring, modifying and troubleshooting network and telecommunications technology following company and Supplier standards.
Monitoring the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment
Analyzing industry trends & assist in planning the development of telecommunications network infrastructure as per engineering standardsindustry and technical standards.
Project Delivery methodology for managing delivery of projects
Service Management processes (Support Models, Service Level Management, Contract Management and Supplier Management).

Proficient in communication and negotiations dealing with various levels of an organization

Ability to collaborate with Project Teams, telecom contractors/service providers, the Major Execution Contractors (FEED, EPC, EPCM, etc.) and other contractors.
