For our client, an American travel company in Berlin, we are currently hiring a

Field Support Technician (f/m)
Reference number: 324260
Starting date: 1st of April 2017
Length of the contract: 8 months with possibility of extension

Task description:
* Provides IT Desktop support to the relevant End-user community in Berlin and remote support to others EMEA offices, including all desktop computing hardware and software and peripherals
* Lead problem resolution activities in order to get technology incidents and problems resolved
* Identifies and solves any problems that affect desktop computer operating systems and troubleshoots routine problems and maintenance of systems
* Trains employees and orients them on how to use computer hardware and software applications
* Maintains other relevant computer peripheral devices such as Monitors, Printers, and Video teleconferencing problems
* Supports drive imaging for desktop/laptop systems

Your profile:
* Knowledge across all the IT disciplines including hardware, software, telephony, video teleconferencing, and connectivity
* Experience in 1st/2nd/3rd level Corporate IT support, gained in a multi-site IT operations environment
* Experience with Remedy and Service Now ITSM Tools preferred
* Cisco CCNA certification, ITIL Foundation Certificate or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) would be considered an advantage
* English and German language, written and verbal skills
