Field Support Engineer/Technical Support

This is a 3 month contract.

Focus on position is hardware break/fix and software support.

Work from home and travel to client sites within a 100 mile radius. Will be reimbursed for mileage.

Install, troubleshoot and maintain an extensive variety of products and equipment by identifying, analysing, and repairing product failures and also order and replace parts as needed. Will be familiar with a variety of the industry's concepts, practices, and procedures; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May also lead and/or direct the work of others.

Responsibilities:
-Represent Company in a positive and professional manner.
-Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy clients and achieve company goals.
-Perform duties so as to meet customers' SLA.
-Recognize situations requiring a service call Escalation and follow proper Escalation Procedures.
-Provide the support required to close service events promptly, within the SLA and to the satisfaction of the customer.
-Arrive to work, job sites, and meetings on time and prepared.
-Follow appropriate OEM procedures (Software or Hardware) to resolve the end user's hardware problem.
-Communicate effectively with end users, customers, and other Company personnel.
-Update ticketing system with problem resolution notes.
-Test various parts used for service.

Qualifications:
-Technical Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical certifications.
-Break/fix hardware and software support experience.
-Strong troubleshooting skills coupled with an aptitude for working through technical issues.
-Minimum of 4 years direct related experience. 
-Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance policy with a clean driving record.
-Attention to detail.
-Strong communication skills.
-Strong customer facing skills.
