Field Support Engineer

Field Support Engineer - Permanent - Oxfordshire

I have an urgent role for an experienced Field Support Engineer to join a leading design and manufacturer of security solutions in Oxfordshire. Your role is critical to the growth of the sales team and will entail full responsibility of product delivery, including specification, demonstrations, commissioning and training.

As a successful Field Support Engineer, you will meet most or all of the following

- HNC of higher qualification in Engineering, Science or Mathematics
- Minimum 4 years commercial experience in a customer facing/ field support/ installation or similar hands on role
- strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
- a technical aptitude/knowledge of basic RF principles
- problem solving abilities to resolve difficult customer situations
- PC literate
- Good documentation and record keeping skills
- fullUKdriving license (you will be given a company car)
- UKpassport as international travel will be expected

This will be a fantastic role for someone who has a hard working attitude and are self motivated. The sales team consists of 6 people and the guys are all friendly and adopt a fairly informal atmosphere. The company has a flat structure but depending on performance and ability, there will be opportunities to expand your role. This role will also involve both UK and international travel.

Salary will depend upon level of experience ranging from £28,000 - £32,000 pa.
