Field Service Telecom RF Technician III

Telecom/RF Tech - Based out of Evanston Wyoming, you will travel the vast country side visiting oil field site facilities in a 400 mile range; perform a variety of skilled technical work associated with the installation, configuration, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems and associated equipment, in particular, well site RF links and microwave radios.

You will also operate, monitor, and service multiple communications devices in networks and diagnose and test network infrastructure in twisted pair, IP Telephony and line of sight RF.

Responsibilities include

- Installation and programming of Cisco BR 350 microwave 2.4 GHz radios, Motorola Canopy PTP radios along with MDS SCADA radios 
- Provide support for oil field locations in parts of Wyoming, CO and UT 
- Work with other third-party supplier personnel 
- Track and manage the assets of the telephony network 
- Handle Installations, Moves, Adds, Changes, for Telephony & RF equipment and including work on RF Towers

Requirements: 

- Cisco BR 350 microwave 2.4 GHz radios
- MDS SCADA radios
- Aviate microwave 
- Motorola two way radio
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb radio tower structures
- Some overnight travel required
- Ability to climb, bend, stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent driving record
- Microwave radio tech support skills desired
- High School diploma or GED
- Telco experience a plus
