We are seeking an experienced A+ CERTIFIED IT FIELD TECHNICIAN familiar with supporting clients within a 90 mile radius of the Lakeland, FL region; to work for the worlds top corporations and high visibility brands. This is a Temp to hire role. In this position, you will be utilizing A COMPANY VEHICLE and expensing mileage weekly.

A laptop and air card will be provided to manage your work day. The ideal field technician will be motivated and driven to monitor and manage the quality of their work and maintaining their schedule as this is a role with high client visibility.

OVERVIEW

FOLLOWS A REGIMENTED SCHEDULE TO:
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems at clients site.

Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.

HARDWARE/POS SYSTEMS AND PERIPHERALS REPAIR SUPPORT, including direct interaction with the customer to identify problems and provide customer service and repair in a timely fashion.

Documents, tracks and monitors the problem(s) to ensure a timely resolution.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and makes in-field repair decisions.

May involve use of problem management databases and help desk systems as a mobile user.

Must have experience as a field tech supporting technical work as your own manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 1 year(s) in a field environment supporting multiple client locations.

COMPTIA A+ CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.

OEM Certifications are desirable.

Windows 7 and Windows XP Operating System experience including break-fix, installation, troubleshooting, imaging, etc.

McAfee Antivirus 8.8 or comparable antivirus software experience

EXPERIENCE WITH CABLE INSPECTION/ORGANIZATION/REPAIR REPLACEMENT (CAT5/FIBER)

Laptop/Desktop hardware break-fix experience

Business Size Printer troubleshooting and repair.

Service Now or comparable ticketing system with SLA Driven automation

Some experience with Asset management as it relates to tracking, receipt and shipping of equipment within SLA

Software break-fix support experience.

8am 5pm core hour work schedule subject to change due to needs of the customer.
