Field Service Technician

Field Technician needed for a leading oilfield product manufacturing company in Houston, TX. This position can be either long term contract or direct based on candidate preference and salary is commensurate with experience. This position is bonus eligible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides technical support to customers regarding installation and maintenance of equipment
- Serves as the area 'expert' on issues/troublshooting and field calls
- Works closely with customer to analyize and review problems encountered in the field and recommends solutions when applicable
- Plans for inventory equipment and accessories needed for assigned jobs
- Verify connection signature for acceptance or rejection and verify calibration of connection make-up equipment

REQUIREMENTS

- Associate of Arts Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree or equivalent experience
- Electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, machine repair, rigging, installation experience preferred
- Some days will require a 24 hour on call rotation and must be willing to travel as required
