Field IT Systems Administrator

Our client is the PACIFIC NORTHWEST\'S SIGNATURE SOFTWARE COMPANY seeking a candidate with WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2 ADMIN EXPERIENCE to carry out IT Manager duties and executive level support to onsite VP. This resource will be relied on heavily with user assistance supporting corporate sales sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Troubleshooting IT-managed Windows Server infrastructure, responding to trouble requests, replacing failed components, and acting as 'smart-hands' for remote management teams
- Addressing network issues and working with centralized operations teams
- Management and maintenance of an inventory of network spare parts
- Configuration and installation of new server components
- Working with telephony teams to address issues related to phone, pbx, IP phone and end user issues
- Collaboration with a broad range of IT support teams to deliver new project
- Specific projects ranging in scope from surveys and documentation, to planning and executing deployments
- Support of end users through written and verbal communications
- Documentation of processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2-4 years of Windows Server 2008 R2 Admin experience
- 2-4 years Windows 7 enterprise experience
- 2-4 years working with networking concepts
- Familiarity with network equipment, patching cables, tracing, basic troubleshooting, drivers, etc.
- Experience with Audio/Visual equipment a plus
- 1-2 years Project Management experience and record of delivering and managing small projects
- Must be able to prioritize work
- Comfortable speaking to and leading groups in training sessions
- Must be able to communicate effectively to a non-technical audience
- Must be an effective collaborator and team member
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Must have ability to travel to different offices in the Region
- Weekly hours will vary based on team needs.
- PLUSES: Training experience, support desk/admin experience, and Lync/OCS work experience

This contract position is expected to be 10 months in duration.
