Field Based Retail Merchandising Specialist: Oil and Gas Co

FIELD BASED RETAIL MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST: OIL AND GAS CO

This World Leading Global Petrol Company has an exciting opportunity for a Field Based Retail Merchandising Specialist.

There are 3 potential Field Based Retail Merchandising Specialist roles available:

1 x North (Ideally based in Manchester area)
1 x Central (Ideally based in Milton Keynes area)
1 x South (Ideally based Essex/Kent area)

About the role:

Covering approximately 150 petrol station shops, visiting them on a quarterly cycle for a relatively short period (2 hours).

Activities being completed on each visit will a mixture of merchandising and auditing as below.

MERCHANDISING SUPPORT:

- Surveys of existing layouts/equipment (quarterly)
- Installation of new equipment and/or POS (quarterly)
- Implementation of permanent or trial planograms (quarterly)
- Seasonal activity set up (quarterly)

COMPLIANCE CHECKING:

- Ensuring Shop layout plans have not changed (annual check)
- Auditing Planogram compliance (quarterly check of recent changes)
- NPD availability (quarterly check of any new lines)
- Retail Brand Standards (quarterly check)

SPACE OPTIMISATION:

- Reviewing Category performance and making proposals for change (maximum one site per week)

ABOUT YOU:

- Full UK Driving Licence
- An enthusiastic and team-focused approach
- Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience in a similar merchandising role
- Confident communication skills
