FID Repo Middle Office

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

The Liquidity and Resource Management group are responsible for providing support to the business around collateral management, cash management and secured financing. This encompasses regulatory and industry change, exposure management, collateral efficiency and concentration, liquidity management and funding, equity and Fixed Income financing.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The role covers a number of products within the financing environment, notably Fixed Income repo, bond borrowing/lending, collateral trades and all triparty financing.

Working in a small team supporting 10 traders and 4 Sales on the Fixed Income Financing desks (both flow and credit business).

KEY OBJECTIVES CRITICAL TO SUCCESS:

- Trade capture/amendment and risk management
- Triparty ownership and day-to-day collateral management and optimisation

Exception and query management 
- High level of client service around incoming query management
- Accountability around break and dispute ownership/resolution

Ownership and analysis of MIS and operational risk
Creation of End of Day P&L, comparison, sign off and commentary

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

- Stock Loan and Repo operations
- Flow and OTC derivative knowledge
- Previous Triparty experience and knowledge (Euroclear and Clearstream preferable)
- Collateral Management, under ISDA CSA, GMRA or GMSLA
- Proactive in looking for ways to improve processes and controls
- High level of numeracy and attention to detail
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at various levels within an organisation
- Strong excel skills

Successful candidates will be engaged under a contract for services by Resource Solutions.
