Fibre Optical Engineer/Analyst/Fibre testing/CD/PMD/OTDR/ILM/Fault-finding/DWDM
A great new opportunity has arisen with a well-established company for an experienced Fibre Optical Engineer/Analyst to work in Singapore in a year-long contract. The position will require strong technical knowledge of DWDM based optical transmission systems design (Networks, Devices, and Technology), component qualifications, system simulation and link budget analysis. You will also need g OOD OTDR/PMD/CMD/ORL/Insertion Loss/Attenuation test experience/skills as well as knowledge of Industry Test Standards/Protocols/Methods. The successful applicant will need to know how to perform FC/OTDR's and understands BERT testing. The position will require 80% travel around Asia which will be fully expensed.
