Fibre Design Officer

FIBRE DESIGN OFFICER
Our client is actively seeking a Fibre Design Officer to join an existing and active team in Melbourne. The role will be responsible for design and engineering support for projects with respect to optical fibre and copper plant as per the customer's requirements. The initial engagement will be for 4 months with possibility to extend up to 12 month.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Engineering diploma or Degree in telecommunications
Experience of fibre planning and inside and external associated telecommunications assets and infrastructure.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated design experience of SDH/PDH and DWDM networks.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and customer focus.
