FI Credit Analyst - Credit Risk

Based in London, our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a FI Credit Analyst. The role entails credit analysis, the preparation and recommendation of credit proposals to relevant bodies and also monitoring counterpart credit risk and country risk in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Duties

*Managing a credit portfolio of Financial Institutions and counterparties of the Middle East and North Africa region
*Developing communication channels with various departments with bank, displaying commercial awareness and upholding sound risk management standards
*Credit risk analysis and monitor existing exposure
*Assess and understand derivative transactions
*Prepare annual reviews of clients and countries as well as credit proposals.

Skills

*Excellent analytical skills for Financial Institutions
*Good knowledge of MENA banking sector
