FEA Analyst - Aberdeen - Permanent

Progressive Global Energy are working closely with a key account in Aberdeen to find an FEA Analyst to join them on a staff basis.

This is an excellent opportunity with a Global Subsea service company in their HQ of Aberdeen. The company service the Oil and Gas industry throughout all stages of the project/equipment lifecycle, where they have individuals out in the field, in the design office, the workshop for manufacture as well as the aftermarket service for the clients and customers.

With this in mind, there are a significant amount of Design and Project Engineers within the company at the moment, although the stress and fatigue analysis of the equipment is carried out by an entirely different department, who are looking to increase their head count.

What do you need to apply?

- Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in an analysis role (within the industry would be advantageous)
- Proven experience in the use of softwares to carry out Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Experience with subsea equipment would be beneficial, although not a prerequisite
