FAULT MANAGEMENT LEAD responsible to manage the day to day Surveillance Activity in NOC.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Required to work in shift Operation. Support configuration management and implementation configuration data changes for network resources.
- Responsible for Trouble Ticket Escalation and Work order Assignment.
- Conduct first level diagnostic in isolating and identifying the fault location before escalating to field Support team.
- Ensure Alarm threshold and escalate to relevant parties to act on corrective of Alarms detected.
- Classify type of fault based on severity of the problem.
- Support in generating the network performance report related to core and radio access Network. Do the first line maintenance.
- Fault management. Manage all activity reports and keep record of faults and resolutions and support documentation.
- Fault Management takes end-to-end responsibility for corrective maintenance of Network problems ensuring trouble tickets are actively managed until resolution to SLA & OLA requirements.
- Liaises with Customer Care organizations regarding Network outages.
- Supports end-end support, coordination and control of assigned Trouble Tickets.
- Supports Major Service outage investigations and follow up.
REQUIREMENTS:
- More than 7 years of experience in telecommunication industry, preferably experience in operation of NOC
- Fault Management experience
- Trouble Ticket experience
- First Line Support experience
- Basic knowledge in Core, Access network, MW and VAS. Able to work as a team member
