Failure Analysis Technician Job

FAILURE ANALYSIS TECHNICIAN needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chandler, AZ.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Sample preparation and Inspection
- X-ray & Microscope experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Failure Analysis Technician will be responsible for cross sectioning, preparing and examining Microchips and Silicon Wafers for imperfections.
- Utilizing lab equipment such as microscope, polishers, dimplers, dry and wet etchers to prepare samples for failure analysis, Scanning Electron microscope and optical microscope to analyze samples.
- Owning and helping maintain failure analysis equipment.
- Developing and documenting best known methods in sample preparation and analysis.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- MINIMUM of a AS in IT, EE, CS or related subject matter
- MINIMUM of two (2) plus years professional experience in:
- Failure Analysis
- Utilizing lab equipment such as microscope, polishers, dimplers, dry and wet etchers

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

- BS in EE or related subject matter
