Facilities Manager

We're looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a global insurance firm, located in central London.

You will be responsible for two central London locations, taking responsibility for the day to day running of both locations, extensive stakeholder management, as well as managing suppliers and service levels.

This role would suit an individual looking to progress into managing multiple sites, who has a good understanding of facilities management.

You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining a high profile and customer focused presence at all times, show presence and strength as an on site FM lead.
- Providing expertise, support and on site control in local FM activities.
- Identifying training and development needs and opportunities with the team including cross training and professional skills.
- Working within agreed decision making standards, limitations and authorities.
- Introducing and ensuring standardisation and consistency to global engineering standards with the Head of Engineering as guidance.
- Maintaining industry knowledge and up to date legislation and statutory compliance.
- Being able to mobilise and direct the team both with guidance from senior management and also under their own initiative.

The technical skills and expertise required for this role are:

- Solid Facilities Management experience in a high end corporate environment
- Experience of 'client side' Facilities Management with a focus on customer service and vendor management delivery
- Membership of an accredited FM body desirable eg BIFM
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
