McGregor Boyall is working in partnership with one of the worlds leading Payment Processor, who are looking for a Facilities Manager to work on an contract basis.

The role

To support the Head of Estate Operations in the management of an estate operation function which takes the company on a development journey towards the goal of a 'Centre of Excellence' in terms of out-sourced services management, health & safety, compliance, space optimisation and occupancy cost control.
The centre of excellence will deliver continuous improvement across all services and disciplines in the UK estate.
To be the hard/soft services SME (subject matter expert) supporting the Businesses team.

Key Accountabilies

To be the hard/soft services SME maintaining an up to date overview of innovation & change within that area of expertise sufficient to competently manage & advise the teams as appropriate
Provide direction & expertise within the operating area motivating best performance & practice
Out-sourced service provider management including reporting, monitoring, non-performance & improvement planning of the contracts to ensure service quality is delivered at the agreed high standard on a consistent basis across the estate
Liaise with businesses building FM leads
Prepare operational & financial reports as required
Space utilisation
Business Continuity from an building location perspective
Environmental compliance and controls
Staff engagement

Management support of major relocation and development projects

H&S policy procedures and audit responsibility
Statutory Compliance of the regional estate

Regional budget compilation
Optimisation of occupancy costs

Continuous improvement champion role support
To support the development and delivery of a 'Lean Business Model' in terms of both Property & Procurement activities within the estate

Skills

Health, Safety & Compliance, people management, IT literacy for Word, XL, PowerPoint & Outlook, negotiation skills, financial & budgetary compilation & controls
An in depth understanding of hard/soft services delivery & service excellence
Hard/soft services experience to middle management level within an FM environment
Team member, patient, good work ethic, sociable & determined
