External Reporting Manager

Robert Half Management Resources are looking to engage with an Interim External Reporting Manager for a US Listed Company based in Oxfordshire.

Our client is an exciting fast-growing company in need of an expert to ensure that their external financial reporting meets the highest standard. This position will regularly interact with senior management and reports to the Financial Controller.

THE ROLE

- Preparation of SEC Reports (10Q and 10K filings);
- Using financial information generated by the financial department, prepare the Company's external financial reports (quarterly and annual SEC reports, Proxy statements, etc.);
- Maintaining and monitoring department compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures;
- Support SOX and month end close procedures;
- Assisting with the establishment and revision of the Company global accounting policies;
- Take ownership to collaborate with other groups and/or departments to assess the reporting implications of changes in US GAAP and IFRS, ensure compliance with new and/or amended standards/interpretations, coordinate changes, and ensure availability of requisite information for financial reporting;
- Assist in coordinating the annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors, accounting team and executive management;
- Manage the preparation and maintain support for all areas of our external reporting process, such as EPS calculations, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Stockholders' Equity, and Share-Based Compensation;
- Lead or participate in other projects as necessary.

YOUR PROFILE

- An appropriate accounting qualification (CPA/ACA) from a top accounting firm.
- Proven track record in filing SEC reporting for a US listed company 10K/10Q.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP. IFRS desirable.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Interim External Reporting Manager, US Listed Company based in Oxfordshire. A 3 month initial contract, £400 - £500 per day (via a Ltd Co.) dependent on experience.
