For our client in Basel we are looking for an Export Operations Expert for a one year contract.
Place: Basel
Duration: ASAP - 30.09.2018 (option of prolongation)

EXPORT OPERATIONS EXPERT
Job Purpose:
Ensure Export Operations documentation is prepared, reviewed, approved and archived according to country specific requirements & to time, quality and compliance standards (ie: NFCM/SOX) Lead and implement major process redesign (continuous improvement) and related projects, both for NPhS Basel organisation and customer facing in countries, clusters and regions
Major Accountabilities:
* Independent handling of all documents needed for Export Business (in close collaboration with several department: Supply Chain, Logistics, Pricing & Market Access, Regulatory, Funds Flow, Credit Management, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Quality Assurance || ensuring they are prepared, reviewed, approved and archived according to country specific requirements & to time, quality and compliance standards)
* Identify and implement process simplification opportunities across NPhS Export Operations
* Lead and implement projects (from kick-off to implementation & monitoring) to improve process compliance, quality, efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction
* Ensure Commercial Offers/Tender Quotations are correct, complete and compliant before their signature and communication to external customers
* Provide Pro-forma Invoices to enable commercial transactions & import licenses as per country specific requirements
* Compile and analyse pricing data to support decisions related to Export business
* Provide Price Certificates in collaboration with Global Pricing & Market Access for product launch/registration
* Implement and maintain Pricing & Customer master data according to NFCM/SOX requirements
* Assist in review & preparation of Legal Agreements/documentation
Candidate Profile:
Education:
University or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration Languages:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of other languages (eg German, French) advantageous
Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in Multi-national Commercial/Business Administration (Pharmaceutical sector and advantage)
- Project management experience
- Computer skills (eg: MS Office, SAP)
- Experience in multinational/Matrix organization and cross-functional teams
- Interpersonal, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle urgent and complex (multi-functional) assignments
- Ability to manage conflict of priorities.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge in Export business
- Understanding of implications in a complex (multi-functional*Knowledge of related Software and ability to learn fast new programs & systems
