Export Engineer

EXPORT ENGINEER - IMPORT/EXPORT, EXPORT DOCUMENTATION, MICROSOFT WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL

An Export Engineer with Import/Export, Export Documentation, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills/experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Lancashire

An exciting opportunity has become available within our client's business. We are looking for someone who is able to provide support to our client's import/export team. The ideal candidate will have experience raising export documentation, query resolution, general admin and inputting data into ERP systems.

OVERVIEW OF THE EXPORT ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role.

The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:

- Raise export documentation in line with UK and other legislation
- Liaise with freight forwarders and other transport agencies
- Work within strict company legal frameworks
- Comply with UK legislation for all Export activities
- Support customers in query resolution
- Work closely with customers to achieve their import and export requirements
- Follow established processes for Import and Export activities
- General administrative duties
- Data Input with attention to detail

Full training will be given on the above

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE EXPORT ENGINEER

- Current import/export experience would be an advantage
- Good communications skills
- High attention to detail
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds.
