Exploration Commercial Manager: I am currently working with a very exciting client - the UK Exploration wing of one of the world's largest Oil & Gas companies. This division has just acquired a significant number of assets, which hopefully will result in them more than tripling their production over the next few years. The company are as a result growing rapidly and continuing to look for key strategic acquisitions to help develop their portfolio.

The main focus of the role will be in commercial support, however there may be some involvement in business development. Specific responsibilities include:

+ developing commercial strategy for the company's international assets

+ acting as liaison with the company's JV partners

+ negotiating joint venture and third party agreements

+ transaction origin and execution

To be considered for this challenging and varied role, you must have the following skills/qualifications:

+ 10+ years energy experience, with a specific focus on upstream Oil & Gas

+ hands on experience with all the above agreements

+ strong understanding of petroleum economics

+ a well-developed network of international upstream contacts
