Expert Trading Business Analyst - London

Our client a multinational oil/gas/trading organisation is looking for an "Expert" Trading Business Analyst to work in London, UK for 12 Months plus extensions.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
- Able to utilize their trading business knowledge to recommend, develop and implement the overall implementation strategy
- Candidates must be able to provide mentoring to colleagues. (8 + Years of Experience)
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Trading applications - ETRM Systems and Scheduling Systems.
- Significant knowledge of Trading Organizations - Front Office (Trading), Middle Office (Risk, Scheduling), or Back Office (Accounting, Confirms).
- Support ITSO to deliver application support for the applications in the Trading & Optimisation (gas & power) IT application portfolio to the agreed service levels.
- Substantial experience of the European Gas/Power Trading market:
- Products: fundamental understanding of physical & financial (inc derivatives) G&P instruments and how they are settled.
- Deal execution: functional knowledge of how instruments are elecronically traded via brokers/exchanges.
- Risk Management: sound understanding of how metric such as MTM, VaR, P&L and exposure are derived.
-Substantial experience of Zainet/Aligne.
- Excellent report writing skills
- Functional knowledge of Zainet Analytics/VaR -Experience of EFETNet or other E-Confim solutions.
- Experience of Trayport Trading Gateway.
