Expert in Chemical Legislation (m/f)

- Report and monitor the main legislation areas concerning all laws and standards related to the handling and selling of chemical substances and mixtures, with particular reference to restrictions / inventories / hazard communication (SDS), especially classification and labelling (Safety Data Sheets, classification and labelling, handling of dangerous goods)
- Keep up-to-date with current legal issues and alert to potential changes affecting these areas
- Timely review of the legislative documents to identify and report changes
- Deliver all changes to existing substances referred to the legislation
- Delivery format needs to be defined
- Timely review on new and changed regulations
- Reply to questions concerning local legislation
- Regions that need to be covered: Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon
- Types of products: aerosols, biocides, cosmetics, detergents, greenhouse gases, Major Accident Regulations, occupational diseases (related to chemicals), ozone depletion products, plant protection products

- Solid knowledge of chemical legislation in designated countries
- Good network of companies, regulatory agencies and industrial associations in designated country
