Optimus Life Sciences are working with a leading pharmaceutical healthcare organisation to help employ a freelance Expert Statistician for a 12-month contract.
The role is based in the global headquarters and will work closely with the Biometrics Department to ensure that compounds in development are brought successfully through trials and onto the market.
The position will function as a subject matter expert within the group, working in cross-functional teams with Programmers, Statisticians and Data Managers and leading and training more junior staff. You will also advise on Statistical mythologies and help answer any questions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work to develop clinical development strategies, regulatory and commercial strategies.
- Take responsibility for planning and reviewing of protocols and documentation relating to statistics and submissions and the accompanying meetings, where appropriate.
- Plan and direct compound level analysis and reporting activities.
- Take responsibility for vendor management.
- Take responsibility for the successful completion of deliverables.
- Work on complex statistical methodologies.
- Work on submissions to regulatory authorities.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- PhD/MSc in Statistical/Mathematical field.
- Minimum 10 years experiences working in Clinical Trial Statistics in a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
- Proven experience working in project management/leadership with a history of meeting specific deliverables.
- Extensive knowledge of FDA and ICH regulations and industry standards.
