Responsibilities:
• Participate in Investment Planning meetings with BUIT
o Involve functional teams per business domain
• Balancing the Portfolio
o Estimate per initiative:
Consult functional teams per initiative
Collect impact per functional team to come to an Estimate
Provide the Estimate to BUIT (+/- 30%)
Update the demand picture in FTE per project, per functional/technical area, per platform, per month.
Take the necessary actions to smoothen peaks as much as possible through interacting with BUIT and AS
o Formulate proposals towards AS and BUIT to optimize resourcing and costs by clustering projects
o Assess the impact on the current portfolio against constraints and co-ordinate to reduce those constraints
• Be the point of contact for BUIT for individual project intake
• Determine if the project is part of the AS SC portfolio or not.
• Review initiated projects in the ASOE tool
o In case the initiative is linked to the known Investment Plan
Accept and trigger an Assessment
o In case the initiative is not aligned with the Investment Plan
Check the request and seek BUIT approval on Portfolio level before starting an Assessment
• Put new assessments on the weekly Master Planning meeting agenda and drive towards away forward.
• Consult functional team managers to determine which functional teams have to be involved in executing the assessment
• Determine Assessment lead per new initiative
• In case, I'm the lead
o Organize an intake meeting with involved functional teams where BUIT can explain the requirements
o Follow up on Assessment progress
o Coordinate cross functional team reviews on the assessment outcome
o If applicable, organize review meeting with responsible Delivery Director
o Provide the outcome to BUIT
Scope / Assumptions / Pricing / Proposed timelines
• In other cases, follow up on progress of assessment.
• Be the SPOC for all cost estimate sharing from AS with BUIT
o Communicate assessment outcome to BUIT requester
• Trigger data collection on project reporting
• Review and analyze collected data
• In case of unexpected measurements, ask detailed feedback and write motivation
• Draft the monthly Performance Review slide deck
• Review with Senior Management and update if required
• Connect with global DMO and Regional continuous improvement initiatives
• Determine Current state related to: guidelines, processes, tools, resources and organizational structures
• Generate improvement ideas and workout improvement proposals
• Give feedback to stakeholders such as Regional Senior Managers (LT meetings) and Global DMO or other organizations
• For selected projects; work out rollout plans on regional level
• In some cases, manage the regional improvement projects
Technical skills:
• Not self-employed
• +7 years of experience in Supply chain projects, also with SAP
• Being able to summarize and present solutions / issues in a very concise way
• Being able to connect and get things done without hierarchical oversight
• Ability to drive resolution for challenging requirements by bringing in teams together - both internal partners and external vendors
• Global mindset - ability to work across multiple countries and cultures.
• A Change Agent with a high tolerance for ambiguity
