Experieneced Matlab Developer (f/m) Financial area Prague

On behalf of one of our clients, a financial institution located in Prague, we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:

EXPERIENECED MATLAB DEVELOPER (F/M) FINANCIAL AREA PRAGUE

The project focuses on development and maintenance of MATLAB software components integrated in the risk management system. As this team is in close contact with the customer (team designing new risk management methodologies), candidates should be ready to travel regularly (approximately 1 week in a month) to Frankfurt, Germany.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- University degree and/or a comparable qualification
- Proficiency in MATLAB, SQL and relationla databases
- Knowledge of Java, C, C++, concepts of Unix/Linux will be of advantage
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in an international environment
- Good communication skills
- Written and spoken English mandatory, Knowledge of German would be an advantage

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- Start date of assignment ASAP
- Intitial contract duration 3 months or until end of calendar quarter (optional: extension is anticipated but cannot be guaranteed)
- Degree of employment: Full-time
- Location: Prague
