Experienced Communications / Marketing Professional

Service Care Solutions in conjunction with Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council are currently recruiting an experienced communications / marketing professional.
Main Purpose
To develop and deliver a communications strategy to support a major programme of customer-focused transformation that has a strong focus on:
Customer and Family Journey
Channel Shift / Website / CRM
Contact Centre Tools and Systems
Customer Insight and Intelligence

This is a hands-on role so you'll be responsible for the entire process of delivering upon the strategy, including research, planning, delivery and evaluation.
You'll be expected to create a communication strategy and action plan to generate awareness of and support for the transformation programme with key stakeholders, including leadership team, staff at all levels, the IT service, elected members and key strategic partners. Familiarity with major IT change roll outs and associated communication would be an advantage.
Experience / Skills Required
*Professional marketing or degree level qualification and significant experience of managing the delivery of effective marketing and communications in a large and complex organisation, working closely with an IT service
*Experience of account, campaign or portfolio management, including communication strategy development, research, planning, delivery and evaluation
*Experience of being part of a project team in a pressurised and deadline driven environment
*Experience of researching, writing, editing and targeting information to a wide variety of audiences and making best use of all communications channels
*Experience of managing all stages of the marketing and communications process including commissioning designers, distribution, production companies and working with the media
