Executive Desktop Support | CBD Location | 3 Month Contract

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a technology leader that is government funded. In addition to this they have the support and funding of the Territory Governments also.

THE ROLE:

Executive Desktop Support Engineer required joining an existing Technology team. The primary responsibility will be to support the CEO but also 20 VIP Users when required. This is initially expected to run up until EOFY 2013/14.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Deliver high quality support to "C" Level executives
- Maintain open dialogue with executives to understand expectations.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
- Ensure that results meet executive expectations including escalated or delegated tasks.
- Open communication with executives around contingency plans and outstanding items.
- Available to be contacted at all times.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is seeking a clear and assertive communicator with demonstrated experience in a similar role. The key requirement for this role is the attitude and desire to go over and above the call of duty when required. Although there is a technical element to this role, the primary deliverable is to build and maintain service levels for the delivery of quality IT Support to the CEO and VIP's.

OTHER IDEAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

- Executive Level Support experience is essential for this role.
- Degree qualifications in IT or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- Experience in a support environment and ability to communicate with non-technical staff
- Proactively support a variety of users and systems in a busy environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously in a small, close-knit team
