Whilst I can't give too much away about the company due to their size, they have created a piece of cutting edge technology which is already being widely used across Investment Banks, Exchange Providers, Brokers, Platform Providers and Investor Client Firms. Responsibilities within this role will change as the company grows. At first, you will be carrying out hands on application support within the company for their clients. It will really require you to roll up your sleeves and dig into the technical work, whilst also be extremely client facing. As time goes on, you will be responsible for outlining the application support functions and will continue to run it until you will hire people to sit underneath you. You will take a key role in the growth of the application support team and you will add a huge amount of value to the company.

Due to the size of the company, they are looking for the perfect candidate for this role and have laid out certain things which they will look for on a CV.

Necessary skills need to be:

- Excellent Technical Background - Linux/ SQL
- Understanding of the ITIL Framework
- Knowledge of FIX Protocol
- Financial Services Background

You do not need management experience, but you must demonstrate the ability to lead a team, so is perfect for someone who is looking to step in their career.
