Exchange Traded Derivatives Expert - Operations Strategic Manager

OPERATIONS STRATEGIC PLANNING, ETD, INDUSTRY RELATIONS FINANCIAL MARKETS, LISTED DERIVATIVES, OPERATIONS/RISK MANAGEMENT, EXCHANGE TRADED DERIVATIVES, GLOBAL TEAM, STRONG COMMERCIAL AWARENESS, ANALYTICAL SKILLS

Global Investment Manager requires a Derivatives Expert with a strong track record of strategic planning and handling of large projects from start to completion, liaising with internal departments and external counterparties.

Must have either be working with Exchange Traded Derivatives on the Broker side or recently transitioned out of operations. You will be able to demonstrate a solid industry profile as well, ie. representative on forums, speaker at FIA conferences, etc..

The role will have overall ownership for the Derivatives Product strategy, including:
* The Product strategy & plan which drives the solution's position in the marketplace, cross-product.
* Definition of the solution vision, objectives and overall 'voice' of the derivatives end-to-end solution.
* Overseeing global/regional derivatives campaigns and incorporates key market requirements into the product strategy.
* Working with product line managers to plan, as appropriate and measuring & tracking revenue realization, aligning with business case/strategy targets.
* Must have an operations background and good understanding of trade administration, from the point of trading to the settlement of trades, including: trade capture, trade confirmation, trade communication, fail trade capture and resolution

Person Requirements:
* Ability to provide Strategic Planning and thought leadership across Industry Relations Teams
* Strong understanding and knowledge of financial markets, with superior knowledge of Listed Derivatives.
* Operations/Risk Expertise: experience with Exchange Traded Derivatives, cross product and cross region.
* Management experience leading a multi-discipline and multi-level, geographically dispersed team to success
* Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
* Ability to identify and develop business cases for new opportunities
* Ability to advocate and gain internal and external support for Derivatives initiatives
* Strong organizational and leadership skills
* Superior communication skills with the ability to present results both orally and in written format in a clear, concise, and professional manner
* Ability to interact with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Develop and maintain a strong working relationship within the industry on a global basis
* Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner
* Extensive experience working with business and operational groups as a client in a derivatives processing function, either in a vendor, consulting or internal support role
