Exchange 2016/Office 365 Operations Support

WE ARE CURRENTLY SUPPORTING OUR CLIENT, A RENOWNED SWISS BANK IN THE ZURICH AREA, IN THEIR SEARCH FOR AN EXPERIENCED EXCHANGE 2016/OFFICE 365 OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The suitable Candidate will be part of the office365 & Exchange 2016 On premise Migration project.
- Provide technical expertise to the Global Office 365 project
- Test changes in the relevant test environments
- Deploy changes into the production environment
- Support operational duties to support/maintain the exchange 2010 environment
- Work with regional peers to deliver changes into the production environment that is globally aligned.
OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM (TEAM SIZE, BACKGROUNDS, PERSONALITIES):
- Suggestion: One of the key areas the candidates are interested to hear about is the size and structure of the existing team
- The Collaborations Switzerland team is part of the End User Services department and consists of 16 people and is part of the global Collaborations
- Team that is spread across NY, Raleigh, Singapore, Pune, Poland & Zurich.
- The role will sit within the Email Operations team that consists of 7 members.
CHALLENGES CONTRACTOR WILL BE FACING IN THIS ROLE:
- Offers a great opportunity to work in a large international organization, with many different cultures, background
- Tight project timelines and requirement to work in an agile delivery team
- High impact to end users if changes impact production
ESSENTIALS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent Exchange 2016 as well as 2010 knowledge (MSCE certifications)
- Exchange 2016 Migration Experience in a big multi regional environment
- Office 365 Hybrid Experience
- Excellent English Skills (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Communicating across cultures and boundaries
- Can do attitude
- Experience in huge Migrations
- Ability to work under pressure
- German skill is a plus
