We are looking for experienced IT Security Analyst to join for one of our international client in Brussel (Belgium)

POSITION: IT SECURITY ANALYST

JOB TYPE: Contract, 6 months+

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: Brussels, Belgium

KEY SKILLS: IT RISK, IT SECURITY, SIEM, SEM, CISSP, RISK MANAGEMENT, VULNERABILITY, PENETRATION TESTING

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Should be good on IT Security & Risk knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in information assurance and/or information security at a governance and technical level is required.
- In depth understanding of IT risk and security principles across all elements of IT
- Able to work with business and asset owners to identify security requirements in line with applicable standards and regulation
- Ability to write/review Security policies, documentation, controls and procedures
- Solid understanding of Risk Management and Security Frameworks
- Broad technical background, network and/or systems security engineering
- Familiar with technical security concepts including vulnerability management, penetration testing, security event monitoring
- Familiar with both commercial and open source offensive/defensive security solutions.
- Ability to communicate well at all levels, both written and verbally, from the executives to the technicians.
- Ability to critically review materials submitted and assess the adequacy of evidence provided
- Knowledge of project management principles
- CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent certifications
- Ability to develop strong relationships with business colleagues and global teams

KEY CRITERIA.

- Working experience in Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM/SEM)
- Working experience in Real Time analysis of security alerts
- Experience in conducting Gap analysis - associate should be able to give some evidences that s/he has good experience on her/his
- ability to documenting the gaps
- proactiveness in giving recommendations
- meeting different levels of stakeholders at IT & Business side
- Beyond security events related to infra (like operating-system, database), any experience on the controls at application side (like SQL Injection vulnerabilities, Cross-site Scripting (XSS) etc.)
- Any experience in implementing different Security Controls -
- Technical controls (user authentication, Identity and access mgmt. etc.)
- Compliance controls (Legal & regulatory control measures)
- Experience in dealing with non-personal accounts vs personal accounts and different monitoring techniques
- Involvement in any vulnerability testing, penetration testing
