Job Description

POSITION: Learning & Development Manager - Sales Excellence (Haematology & Oncology)
SUPERVISOR: Associate Director, Learning & Development
LOCATION UK - Stockley Park, Uxbridge
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
PREREQUISITES: Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry with experience of designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes.

This role will drive the implementation of the learning agenda for the Haematology & Oncology commercial business focussing on team and individual effectiveness.

This role will lead - from a logistical and deliverable standpoint - the assessing, planning, co-ordination and delivery of Haematology & Oncology commercial training activities for Celgene UK & Ireland.

The role will provide first hand training in areas such as coaching, communication, presentation and selling skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
1. Deliver and evaluate UK/IRE L&D commercial strategy
2. Drive L&D strategy to ensure consistency across all sales teams and RML team (eg knowledge & skills - 70:20:10, Insights Discovery, feedback, coaching, selling skills etc)
3. Provision of technical and skills training for all functions
4. Design, deliver, evaluate and regularly review the induction training programmes for the sales teams
5. Development of training plans for product launches and new campaign roll out
6. Support NM, RBM, KAM & PM team training needs, including field visits, team effectiveness training, regional meeting support and cycle meetings
7. Support RBMs and Sales and Marketing Director in assessing individual representative training needs
8. Liaise with Product Managers to design and support cycle meeting sessions
9. Develop training programmes to address any knowledge gaps identified by training needs analysis
10. Assist in liaising with outside vendors to deliver training
11. Support Medical Director in developing training programmes aimed at knowledge and skill development for the Medical teams
12. Maintain training records in FAST tool

Qualifications

Skills/Knowledge Required:
Significant experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
Experience of assessing, planning & delivering training needs is essential
Ability to set priorities, make decisions to ensure quality of training is consistent
Service & customer-oriented attitude towards training delivery
Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as working the Matrix, forging relationships with stakeholders whilst co-ordinating training & development
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to outperform in a fast-paced environment
Sets high standards to achieve quality results and leads by the example
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines and priorities without losing attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with ability to communicate with associates at all levels of the organisation as well as represent the company and the event team outside the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
