Extensive job description from the client below BUT this is predominately a EXCEL REPORTING role.

1. Ability to specify, manipulate, analyse, present and write reports for statistical and qualitative information
2. Advanced skills in using spreadsheets, databases, word-processing and presentation packages
3. Able to solve problems and overcome barriers to deliver work plan.
4. Ability to understand and interpret management information requirements from a range of sources.
5. Attention to detail including the ability to work accurately with figures and to identify errors
6. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, including ability to organise own workload.
7. Knowledge and understanding of the information requirements of Adult Social Care (desirable but not essential)
Take a lead role in supporting the management and development of social care in the borough through analysis and interpretation. To lead on the use and development of key information systems used to deliver statutory and local reporting be accountable for the collection, analysis, interpretation of management and performance information meeting statutory and local requirements. Take a lead role in Council, Audit Commission and Care Quality Commission.

USE FORMULAS TO PRODUCE EXCEL REPORTS AND FIGURES/SUMS ETC

Prepare and present monthly performance reports for the Directorate Management Team (DMT) and operational areas on a monthly basis. Contribute to the development of social care through the analysis (including geographic analysis) of key datasets including those from statistical returns and other relevant external datasets. Deliver key performance targets and improvements across the Directorate/Delivery of training. Lead on benchmarking through the analysis and presentation of datasets
