JOB DESCRIPTION

As Senior Operational WebSphere Application System Engineer, you carry out the following tasks:

- Support of the complete "Operational/Run" WebSphere environment
- Deploy and install WebSphere Applications
- Perform pre-defined tasks for the applications (Stop/Start, Packages installation)
- Handle Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, Changes and Configuration Management at operation level
- Support tasks associated with running the operation and maintenance of the information systems

YOUR PROFILE

Knowledge and experience

- OWNER OF A MASTER OR BACHELOR DEGREE, 5 YEARS OF IT EXPERIENCE WITH AT LEAST 3 YEARS AS WEBSPHERE SYSTEM ENGINEER.
- ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF WEBSPHERE APPLICATION SERVER, INCLUDING CLUSTERING FOR HIGH-AVAILABILITY AND PERFORMANCE, ADMINISTRATIVE SCRIPTING, TROUBLESHOOTING, AS WELL AS JAVA EE DEVELOPMENT BEST PRACTICES.
- FAMILIAR WITH WEB INFRASTRUCTURE DEVICES, LIKE LOAD-BALANCERS, REVERSE PROXIES, AUTHENTICATION PROXIES.
- FRENCH OR DUTCH WITH FLUENT KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH.
