Your work environment:

This position is based within Information Technology Services, at the heart of the SharePoint Competence Center. This Competence Center consists of 5 SharePoint experts, 3 mediors and 3 juniors. We have a lot of contact with Microsoft experts. At the moment we are working on a challenging highly customized public facing site. SharePoint 2010 will become the platform with which a lot of different technologies (not only Microsoft technologies) will interact.

We are also developing a SharePoint Framework that can be reused throughout the company. It does not only contain utility functions and extension methods, but it will also contain a number of layers, like f.e a layer that facilitates the management of site columns and content types and that offers developers a way of accessing list items as objects.

Job description

Your job will consist of the following tasks:

- Developing high quality, scalable, extendable and performing SharePoint features based on functional requirements formulated by Business
- Bug fixing defects in the current SharePoint application
- Implement change requests formulated by Business
- Write and execute Unit testing for assigned
- Participate in release management toward Test, Acceptance and Production environment
- Write detailed documentation of your development efforts

Your profile Knowledge and experience preferably you

- Have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in SharePoint development (at least SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013 experience is a plus)
- Have a good knowledge of ASP.NET
- are interested to follow new technologies like WCF, LINQ, MVC, HTML 5, CSS, JS, responsive web design
- know how to work with TFS for code sourcing, branching and merging
- You are fluent in English.
