EVENTS PROJECT MANAGER - BIRMINGHAM - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

ROLE SUMMARY:
A position has opened for an Events Project Manager for a 12 - 16 month contract in an organisation based in Birmingham. This key client is looking for an individual who can join a very friendly and busy department to plan, develop and implement the organisation's events. As an Events Project Manager you will be tasked with events management from creation to delivery. You will work alongside various stakeholders and external agencies. The successful applicant must be competent, self-motivated and accustomed to working within budget and time. You must have experience in B2B events, copywriting, speaker management and researching/developing programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Project Manager to get stuck in and join a brilliant organisation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years project/events management
- Ideally degree educated
- Marketing experience
- Programme development
- Research skills
- Speaker management
- Copywriter
- B2B events
- Team player
- Full diving license
- Project management

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant qualifications, such as a diploma or a degree in marketing is desirable but not essential
