I am currently working with national not for profit organisation who are looking to appoint an Events Manager on a fixed term contract of 12 months in order to communicate its corporate strategy and business plans to its members through a series of events of the next twelve months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
The coordination and delivery of between 15 and 20 events of the next twelve months
Producing copy for presentations, the event and for social media
Stakeholder relations
Networking with high profile members during the events
Organising the annual conference
Interacting and clearly communicating with the Chair and Board members
Liaising with the events team to help produce internal educational events
Negotiating with venues, hotels etc.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced events individual to take control of a series of high profile events. You will need to be able to hit the ground running and be confident in networking with a variety of members. You will also have excellent copywriting skills. You will also have responsibility for a marketing coordinator who will assist in day to day duties.
